Applied Statistical Analysis Using R & RStudio for Research
Three hands-on evening sessions that take you from opening RStudio for the first time to analysing your own research data, choosing the right statistical test, and writing up results with confidence. No prior R experience needed.
Seats are limited to keep sessions hands-on. Scroll down to check the session time in your own timezone ↓

Sessions run 7:00–8:30 PM India Standard Time on 7, 8 & 9 October 2026. Here's what that looks like around the world — calculated for those exact dates, DST included.
From raw data to a finished research finding
Each day builds on the last — by Day 3 you'll take a real dataset all the way through to a written result.
Raw Data
Import & clean messy research data in R.
Statistical Analysis
Pick and run the right test for your question.
Interpretation
Make sense of p-values, correlation & regression output.
Research Findings
Report results the way journals expect to see them.
Built for anyone who has to analyse research data — not just statisticians
PhD & MPhil Scholars
Analyse thesis data and defend your methodology with confidence.
College & University Faculty
Bring hands-on R skills into your own teaching and guide research scholars.
UG & PG Students
Get a head start on dissertation or project-work statistics.
Early-Career Researchers
Move from raw survey/experiment data to a publishable result.
Health, Life & Social Sciences
Apply the right test for clinical, biological or survey-based data.
Working Analysts
Add rigorous statistical testing to your existing Excel/analytics workflow.
What's covered across the three days
Ten topics, organised into a natural day-by-day progression.
Introduction to R & RStudio for Research
Interface, packages, and running your first commands.
Importing, Cleaning & Preparing Research Data
Bring in Excel/CSV data and get it analysis-ready.
Missing Values & Outlier Detection
Spot and handle problem data points correctly.
Descriptive & Exploratory Data Analysis
Summary statistics that tell you what you're working with.
Hypothesis Testing & Statistical Test Selection
Choosing the correct test for your research question.
Correlation & Regression Analysis
Quantify relationships and build predictive models.
Data Visualization
Publication-ready charts straight from your analysis.
Interpretation of p-Values
What significance actually does — and doesn't — tell you.
Case Study-Based Data Analysis
Apply everything to a real research dataset, start to finish.
Research Findings: Analysis, Interpretation & Reporting
Write up results the way journals and committees expect.
Learn from someone who teaches this every day
Dr. A. Rajini
Bhavan's Vivekananda College of Science, Humanities and Commerce, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, Telangana, India. Dr. Rajini designs this workshop around real research workflows, so every technique is taught alongside the kind of messy, real-world data researchers actually bring to analysis.

Frequently asked questions
No. The workshop starts from installing R and RStudio, so it's designed for complete beginners as well as researchers who want a structured refresher.
Every session is recorded and shared with all registered participants, so you can catch up at your own pace.
Yes — every registered participant who joins the workshop receives an e-certificate after the final session.
A laptop or a computer with R and RStudio installed (installation guidance is shared before Day 1) and a stable internet connection. A laptop is better if you'd like to follow along and practise hands-on during the live sessions — but it isn't compulsory. Since full recordings of every session are provided, you can also just watch live and practise afterwards at your own pace.
Use the "Foreign Participant" registration button above — it takes you to the international payment option.
